I have always said to use as many of the 2,000 characters as possible in your LinkedIn Summary, but I just found an example of a very short Summary that I really liked… check out personal branding expert William Arruda’s Summary:
That’s it… SHORT!
He is essentially saying “here’s better information on me… perhaps in a different format than what I’m limited to on this LinkedIn Summary…”
I love it.
I don’t normally recommend this because most people don’t have another website (or blog)… or some other property they can point people to… so normally I tell people to just flesh out the summary.
BUT, if you have an awesome page somewhere else, by all means, point people there (like William is)!
